Wheelchair Transportation
Stay in your own chair from your front door to the front desk.
You stay in your own wheelchair from the moment we arrive until you’re inside the building. We bring you aboard, secure the chair before the van moves, and drive as carefully as we would with our own parents in the back. At the other end, we walk you in and make sure you’re checked in before we leave.

Ambulatory & Assisted Walking
For riders who can walk but shouldn’t do it alone.
Some riders don’t need a wheelchair. They need a steady arm and a driver who won’t hurry them. We meet you at your door, help you into the van, and walk you to the front desk when you get there, cane or walker and all. Whether you’re recovering from surgery or simply tire easily, you’ll get the same door-through-door care every wheelchair rider gets.

About Lighthouse Transport
Lighthouse Transport began the way a lot of good things do: with a family deciding that what they’d seen wasn’t good enough. When someone close to us needed non-emergency medical transportation, the rides cost too much, the van was often late, and nobody seemed to care much about the person in the back. That’s why we started Lighthouse Transport in Mount Juliet, to give Middle Tennessee families the ride we wish for our own family.
The name is a promise: a light in a hard time. Getting to dialysis or a doctor’s appointment is stressful enough. The ride should be the easy part.
Every Lighthouse Transport driver is CPR and First Aid certified, trained in passenger assistance and safety (PASS), and HIPAA-aware, and every ride is insured. We get to know our riders by name, and we never forget who’s in the back.

Rides We Provide
Medical appointments come first, but the van goes wherever you need it.
Doctor & Specialist Appointments
Primary care, specialists, labs and imaging. We walk you to the front desk and make sure you’re checked in.
Physical Therapy & Rehab
A ride to every session, and a hand getting in and out of the van on the days you’re sore.
Facility-to-Facility Moves
Between rehab centers, nursing facilities and senior communities, with the timing worked out with the staff at both ends.
Adult Day Programs

Call or text 615-559-5560, or send a request through the Book a Ride form. Tell us where, when, and what help the rider needs. Two days’ notice, please.

We Confirm Everything
We confirm the pickup time, the destination and the price, so there are no surprises on the day.

Ride Day
Your driver arrives on time, helps you into the van, and walks you in at the other end. Round trips and companions are welcome.
Plans change? Give 24 hours’ notice to cancel.

Track Every Ride in Real Time
Know Exactly Where Your Loved One Is, From Pickup to Drop-Off
The moment your driver heads out, you’ll get a private tracking link through our Duet platform. Open it on any phone or computer to watch the van’s location update live, from the curb at pickup, through every mile of the route, all the way to the destination. And again on the trip home.

Phones are answered Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 6 PM. Rides outside those hours are available when booked in advance.
Booking
Book two days ahead by call, text or the online form. Cancel with 24 hours’ notice. After you book, we’ll send the rider agreement to sign online.
Payment
Private pay: credit card, cash or check. Lighthouse Transport does not bill insurance. You’ll know the price before you book.
